The GPS/Mapping Feature.. Some don’t think this feature is very useful, but in cases where you want to make sure you cover every inch of a spot, then it can be very valuable especially in open fields or wooded areas where it is hard to tell exactly where you are.
I have been relic hunting at this particular spot for several years now and I know there has been detectorist’s hunting this spot for over 40 years.. So going out there and finding anything speaks well for the CTX. I hunted in a combined mode, Ferrous/Coin, bottom line (Ferrous 35) blanked out. Auto +3 which ran at around 24.
I started where I normally do and it wasn’t long before I found my first Eagle Dragoon cuff button of the day. The backmark said Scovill and Co and had 3 stars.
I hope this information can help in answering your questions and give you a look at the Exchange 2 program using Google maps.
Thanks for reading and Happy Hunting
