With his interest in detecting, I brought an AT PRo for him to try out and use. We ran thru the settings, and I showed him several targets. After he had gotten acclimated to the machine we moved around to the front of the home. One of his first targets was a surprise. His first day detecting and he already had a 1939 Mercury dime. Sorry no photo.
I hunted along side of him and recovered a few wheats and a screw with an Oklahoma Tax token as a washer..
He continued to work around the yard discovering several large pieces of metal. His next notable find was a Silver War War II nickel with the S mint mark. He was pumped. It was getting late and cold, so we finished up the video and I left the AT with him for the week to let him continue hunting his yard. I can’t wait to see what he finds next….
Thanks for reading and hope you enjoy the vid…
