I got there rather late and the landowner was there. He had to eat so I turned on the GPS and went to griding.
The next find is evidently the oldest of the coins.
The George H. Bishop Co. was located in Cincinnati, OH during 1882 - 1899. The saw company the third largest in the US, the operation operation was moved to Lawrenceburg, Indiana until the 1920's. George's brother Charles joined a partnership with his brother in 1893. He was also a worker in the Railroad community and continued to work in that field while helping run the company. Unfortunately George Bishop passed away in 1914. In 1919 the company merged with The James Ohlen & Sons Saw Mfg. Co. to form the Ohlen-Bishop Company.
